The Working Blogger and Bing Rewards

I’m required to disclose a sponsored partnership between our site and Bing. I have been compensated in exchange for this post.

As a blogger and freelance writer, I’m frequently asked what exactly do you do?   My responses are often met with confused looks (even among family and close friends).  It’s understandable since every week is different.  I consistently work from home, but I’m often on assignment at various locations.  I suppose that I’m a work-from-home/work-out-of-the home/stay-at-home/full-time mother.  I love the flexibility, and am truly grateful for the opportunities that blogging and social media have sent my way.

That being said, I spend a lot of time online.  Writing stories, tackling a full in-box, online meetings and navigating social media are always meshed into my days.  I’m constantly trying to streamline my routine to be present and intentional with my children after school.  I’m always looking for helpful tools that can be integrated into my daily work.

Bing, Bing-rewards, #BingRewards

I was recently asked to test out Bing and have been utilizing it for my everyday search needs.  The great thing about switching my computers and iOS device home-pages to Bing is that I’m able to earn and redeem credits (via Bing Rewards) effortlessly for something as simple as searching the web.  I’ve found participation to be straightforward with a one-time sign-in.  Bing Rewards credits can also be accumulated by completing  informative tours, referring friends and completing daily offers.  Bing caters to a wide range of users as their rewards can be redeemed for gift cards with highly desirable retailers including Amazon, Groupon, Red Envelope and Hulu.  My racked up points can even get me freebies at my local favorite spots like Starbucks and Sephora! And I especially love that rewards can be donated to charities.  Best of all, membership is free!

I’m excited about my newly minted Bing Rewards “member” status and am looking forward to moving through the Bing Rewards hierarchy to Gold status.  I definitely recommend Bing Rewards to anyone who wants to be rewarded for time spent online.
