Baseball Season

We recently returned to Citi Field for our first family Sunday baseball game of the season.  It was a beautiful day and the Mets have done so much to make the ballpark a welcoming place for families with children.  We arrived a bit later than planned and didn’t have a chance to take advantage of the bouncy castles outside the stadium but quickly made our way over to fan fest  to enjoy the interactive activities.

The kiddos enjoyed watching the speed-pitch dunk tank and each had their turn at bat.  They came ready to play in their new kicks by Pediped. With super soft, cushioned arch support and an adjustable Flex fit system they were ready to rock the bases – at fan fest and even on the baseball field!

Participating in Mr. Met Dash is always an incredibly exciting event for kids as they run the bases just like the actual players on the field.

Even Mr. and Mrs. Met came out to play.

Mets games at Citi Field are always a memorable family event – even for this non-sports-fan mama!  I love seeing my husband share his excitement for the game and the Mets with our children, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to extend special Mets Mom blogger ticket offers and discounts to MB readers.  Make sure to check out this great ticket offer for Moms & Families Day, including a private meet and greet with Mr. Met and other goodies.

My family’s trip to Citi Field was provided by the Mets Mom Blogger Program.  Footwear was provided by Pediped.  Opinions, as always, are my own.

Father’s Day at Citi Field With The Mets

My husband Bob is an amazing father.  He is also a master pancake maker, supreme bedtime story-teller and exceptional My Little Pony illustrator.  We were all excited to celebrate him on Father’s Day at Citi Field when the New York Mets hosted the Chicago Cubs.  It was my family’s first trip to Citi Field and my children’s first baseball game.

I loved  watching my husband explain the game to our children, and it was exciting for all when the Mets won with a home run in the 9th inning!  We ended our time at Citi Field with the Mr. Met Dash – the kids were so excited to run the bases.  Adrian got a bit off track, but returned with a huge smile after being redirected.  It was surely an experience to remember.

My family received tickets and parking as part of the Mets Blogger Program.  All opinions in the post are my own.
