On Creative Gift-Giving

I catch the kids reading with flashlights under covers nearly every single night.  Their love of literature developed inside the walls of our home and at our local bookstore – since we’re lucky enough to live in walking distance of a Barnes & Noble store.  “Our bookstore” is a place of creativity and discovery filled with special memories like mastering reading for the first time.

As a busy work-from-home-mom, I also treasure my solo time spent browsing through books several mornings per week after hitting the gym, thumbing through sewing books and gifts for the special people in my life.  Since I’ve been a steadfast fan of Barnes & Noble’s gifting options for years – I’m happy to partner with them this Holiday Season to share creative gift-giving ideas for all ages.

Art of Creative Gift-Giving Barnes & Noble

Along with my coveted member coupons, I love the Barnes & Noble suggested gift guides sent in the mail featuring adult coloring books and unexpected gifts; gifts for music lovers and makers, teen specific literature, imaginative toys and adventure-themed books for kids.  And our above gift guide includes an unparalleled selection of the hottest and most creative gifts of the season.  We have our eyes on Ozobot – one of the world’s smallest, programmable robots that teaches basic coding and programming, and the Studio Series Colored Pencil Set.

There’s still time left to join in their upcoming in-store events.  Check out the event calendar below for details on Saturday storytelling at a store near you and stay in touch on Facebook for future in-store events.

  1. I love Barnes & Noble! My kids love books and it’s a tradition that we read a story every night before bed (no matter what! 😉 ) My son is only four and it blows me away how much he is already interested in learning how to read words!

Barnes & Nobles is the BEST! I could literally spend hours in there…probably days LOL

  3. I am a huge fan of Barnes & Noble. And, I really like the art-related gifts that you’ve featured here.
