Fall Fashion With J Jill

I greatly look forward to the month of October.  The canopy of crimson leaves, farm trips with the fam and Halloween excitement meshed with that specific Autumn crispness brings a beautiful combination.  I also happen to adore fall fashion with its boots, comfy scarves, vests and layering options.  Fall is a season that looks good on everyone.

I’ll be honest.  When I was invited to work with J Jill, I was a bit hesitant to sign on. I hadn’t set foot in a J Jill store and fashion posts featuring me are pretty few and far between around here.  Then I attended the Fashion Forward conference here in the city and was inspired by the editors rocking J Jill clothing on the runway.  Real women – looking amazing.  So in that spirit of realness -here’s little ole’ me in my favorite J Jill picks.

J Jill #purejill clothingpure jill cascading hoodie // Alie cable infinity scarf // pure jill indigo tunic // pure jill washed texture scarf // ankle-length leggings c/o J. Jill // hats // bag Prima Donna // shoes Simply VeraVera Wang for Kohl’s.

Many of the pieces that I selected are from J. Jill’s pure jill collection, comprised of interesting textures, natural fabrics and dreamy soft finishes.  I like the casual elegance and unstructured silhouettes of the line and the ease of dressing up or down.  The clothing provides simple solutions for everyday fashion – and the comfort and softness of the materials makes me feel wrapped in coziness.

I also appreciate that J Jill supports women in need.  From now until October, 22, for every gently worn article of clothing donated to their in-store clothing drive, receive 25% off of one J. Jill full price item. Also, get 30% off any full-priced item from the pure jill collection through November 30, 2014, with the code MOPJ30.

Thank you J Jill for sponsoring this post via The Motherhood.  Opinions, as always, are my own.

  1. Monica, you look stunning in these pics!!! I love, love, love hats however, I don’t think I look good in them unfortunately (and have been told so a few times, lol!). I’ll just live vicariously though you and those gorgeous hats 😉

  2. You are gorgeous! When I lived in England, my favourite accessory was scarves. I had tons. Trinidad is a summer island all year long so no scarves for me over here. 🙂

  3. You are so gorge! You need to do more outfit posts!
