12 Fruity Frozen Desserts

The sprinklers officially turned on in New York City’s parks this past weekend and we’re definitely dreaming of the carefree days of summer over here.  There is something glorious about spending ample time outside!  Since frozen treats are such a fun summer indulgence, I focused this month’s FOODIE collection on Fruity Frozen Desserts.

From popsicles, granitas, sorbets and various frozen mash-ups – my collection is sure to satisfy the sweet tooth.  The recipes are perfect for dreamy summer gatherings and post-outdoor adventures.  Some of the recipes are super healthy (and some are not!) – Nevertheless – I  hope you enjoy a refreshing way to beat the heat!

  1. I’ve been sitting here trying to pick a favorite of those desserts and I just can’t. I think you’re going to have to make me all of them!

  2. Well! That Vanilla Ice Cream with Peach Basil Topping sounds delightful!

  3. These all look amazing, especially the strawberry rhubarb granita (I’ve never even eaten rhubarb!) and the coconut mango rice pudding pops! Coconut and mango are the BEST flavour combo ever!!!

  4. It seems like it was only a short time ago that I was reading about your trips to the park to play in the sprinklers. Can’t believe a whole year has passed by. I feel like I know you and your family so well through this blog…Lucia wasn’t even in school yet when I first started visiting. And I remember seeing pictures of a baby Adrian…today he is writing his own thank you letters! 🙂 I hope you never stop blogging. I have loved getting to know you and your family and I think I can safely call you a friend now and not just a blogging pal. 🙂

PS: I love snow cones. 🙂
