The Central Park Zoo With Ugg Australia #LetsGetLost

I always look forward to our weekend family adventures.  I often feel as if we are transported away to distant lands while exploring places in New York City. We recently had quite the adventure at the Central Park Zoo thanks to UGG Australia.  We began our morning at their Madison Avenue flagship store, where I discovered so much more than the sheepskin boots that I equate with the brand.  There were so many gorgeous warm weather options to outfit the entire family.

We came dressed for monsoon weather since we left our home in a heavy downpour, but luckily the storm fully subsided for our private tour of the central park zoo.  I changed the kids into some amazing new kicks before they frolicked around some of their favorite animals including a sea lion, a polar bear, penguins and rainforest critters.  The boy was a bit of a crankster, but thankfully the UGG team had tricks up their sleeves with goody bags and an organized tour.  Our guide was also super informative! I learned that polar bear fur isn’t actually white- it’s pigment free and reflects light off of their black skin creating a white fur illusion.

We’re super grateful for a fun excursion and stylish footwear to carry us through our daily shenanigans.

UGG Australia provided my family with shoes and a tour of the Central Park Zoo.  As always, all opinions are my own.

  1. I got my niece a pair of UGG slippers for Christmas last year and she LOVES them! I didn't realize they made different (other than the great boots) shoes for kiddos. Headed over to check them out.

    • Lucia's UGG boots were worn almost every day during the fall-winter. She has a sensitivity to sock seams (as I did too in childhood) and her boots were the solution to keeping her feet warm in cold weather. She literally wore them without socks in frigid temps and she said that her feet were never cold. I was actually really impressed with their women and men's collections too. There were so many great wedges for women, sandals and flats – with a mix of textures and prints. Thanks so much for visiting Rosey.

  2. I had NO idea that Ugg made shoes other than boots, which are adorable but not very practical down here in the 100 degree heat! I absolutely LOVE Adrian's little shoes! I have to go check out the website now. So cool!

Thanks for sharing, and what an awesome post and experience!

  5. What a great review and trip to the zoo! I always love the outfits that Lucia and Adrian wear and the Uggs make them just that much cuter. I never thought about Ugg making shoes for toddlers–now I have to check out their site!

    • Thanks Kera, we are truly so grateful for the experience. It was memorable one – and we too love the new kicks! Their toddler shoes are adorable.

  6. Looks like such a fun day! And I had no idea they made more than just the boots!
