The parental crank factor was running high this morning, with nighttime sick kiddo wake–ups, a mountain of yesterday’s (washed but unfolded) laundry and arguments revolving around who would go to the gym first. Our intervention came in the form of collective sheet folding. Meeting in the middle with a kiss gave us a strong dose of much needed Saturday morning perspective.
Sometimes you just need to remember where it all began.
You guys are hot! 😉
Ha! Thanks Rachel…if only I included a photo from this morning…more like a hot mess!
It was a rough night at our place, too, so this post came as a nice reminder. Thanks Monica!
It's the simple things, right?!—trust me we all have those days:)

I like this post! Its easy to forget sometimes.
So very true! My husband and I just celebrated our 12th Anniversary last week and I was just saying how it's all the little things that really help make a marriage work and keep a family happy. (And it doesn't hurt that I am just as crazy about him now as the day we met) Thanks for the beautiful reminder – and by the way this is a gorgeous pic of you and your hubby!
That is so sweet Kelly – and congrats on your anniversary! xx – Monica

this is one of my favorite posts of yours. The photo says it all, but you have such a way with words Monica.
