We had quite the busy weekend with birthday parties galore (three in one day!). I even managed a solo evening on Friday night, to attend a P&G Beauty party in NYC’s Theater District celebrating the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. I indulged in several “glam” stations and have been admiring my Olympic level nail designs all weekend. Go Team USA!
I took my new Lily Jade Designer Diaper Bag along for the fun as nothing about this beautifully crafted leather bag screams “mom”. I simply removed the “baby bag” insert for my big night on the town and added it back to schlep the kiddie accessories over the weekend.
I keep saying that I’m going to reclaim my bag as just my own since we’ve been diaper-free for well over a year, but I still find myself vacuuming out the inside of my bags every now and then (not kidding). Motherhood has proven that child-related gear simply shifts post-baby years (I now lug LeapPads instead of diapers), and urban adventures on trains and our feet call for just one bag. Lily Jade’s “baby bag” insert has proven to be the answer to my organizational issues with 16 sturdy pockets and secure spots for kid-sized water bottles. I love that I can reach in and remove the washable insert when heading out sans kiddos.
Lily Jade’s luxe leather bags are an investment – but are also multi-functional, fashionable pieces that will well outlive the diaper years.
