Kidfresh {Review and Giveaway}

Kidfresh and my family go way back.  Back to the day of when Lucia P. was a new solid eater and Kidfresh had a store located on Manhattan's upper east side.  I frequently ventured over with my mama friends because we knew it was a place where we could hang out, feed our babies wholesome organic food and learn from knowledgeable staff as first time mothers.

Baby LP - isn't she yummy?  Getting her chow on at Kidfresh.

Kidfresh has since moved on to producing a line of prepackaged healthy frozen food for children, available in over 4,000 stores.  Their meals are all natural (meeting USDA and federal requirements) and don't contain any of the junk that I don't want my children to eat, like artificial ingredients, flavors, colors or preservatives.  Kidfresh meals are also packed with hidden vegetables and approved by a top pediatric nutritionist.  Since the packaging is environmentally friendly and 100% safe, parents don't have to worry about BPA or phtalates leaching into their children's meals.  I also love the fact that Kidfresh gives back via a partnership with Save the Children.

If it weren't for our history, I probably would have passed on this taste test, since we tossed our microwave a while ago and haven't looked back.  I also think that I can whip up a healthy whole wheat quesadilla in no time.  But then I learned that Kidfresh meals can be heated up via stove top, and my quesadilla apparently isn't nearly as tasty as their Muy Cheesy Quesadillas (and theirs has hidden carrots!!).

My kiddos gobbled up their Muy Chessy Quesadillas in no time.  As you can tell, they declared them muy bueno.

I've realized that I feel better knowing that my freezer is stocked with Kidfresh meals.  Like many mamas, I often feel like I don't have a  moment to breath between the daily logistics of mothering a two and four year old.  Just knowing that I have super quick, healthy options that my kiddos actually want to eat makes me feel like I have a mama safety net in place.

Kidfresh wants to give one of you over a week of free meals and savings!  In addition to the Muy Cheesy Quesadillas, they also have Totally Twisted Pasta + Meatballs, Rainbow Rice + Chicken, Easy Cheesy Ravioli, Spaghetti Loops Bolognese, and Wagon Wheels Mac + Cheese.  Enter to win in the rafflecopter below (US only), a winner will be selected in one week.  Winner will receive seven (7) free meal coupons and five (5) $1.00 off coupons.

Kidfresh provided me with free meals to facilitate this review.  All opinions and quesadilla chowing children are mine.
