Mom's Summer Survival Guide ($50 Kohl's Gift Card Giveaway!)

It is no secret that on some days, my sense of organization leaves something to be desired.  I'm a work in progress.  Aren't we all in some way?  So when Kohl's asked me to test out their free Mom's Summer Survival Guide app, I thought I'd give it a whirl.  I have to say that their summer tips, calendar and back to school organizer have been useful to this stay-at-home mama of two!


I like the idea of incorporating a theme of the week (or day) into our summer fun and think that the kid's enjoyed the consistency.  Adrian mastered his colors and the potty (yay!) and Lucia has been enjoying our creative time at home.  I can see myself incorporating this tip into our family rhythm as the season's change. 


Some of the other components I found useful include: a monthly calender that I can email to myself, back to school organizational tips, a back to school shopping list, and a reminder of the importance of me time (I'm really working on this one!).
